Patrick D. Coughlin, Esq., graduated with a B.S. from Fordham University in 2011 magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Following his senior year, Mr. Coughlin's thesis was published in two peer-reviewed academic journals in psychology. Mr. Coughlin then received his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2014 magna cum laude, where he served as Publication Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review. During law school, Mr. Coughlin represented taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service as well as the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services as part of the school's low-income taxpayer clinic. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Mr. Coughlin practiced civil litigation in Rockland County. At Bashian & Farber, LLP, Mr. Coughlin has focused in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate and Probate Administration, Estate Litigation, as well as Guardianship Litigation, Corporate Law and Litigation, and Real Estate.
