Michael Candela graduated summa cum laude from Villanova University and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honors Society. At Villanova he also was the president of the History Honors Society, Phi Alpha Thea and was a member of the Political Science Honors Society, Phi Sigma Alpha as well as the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society.
Michael received his J.D. from Pace University School of Law and Graduated cum laude. During law school, he wrote an article that was published in the Pace University International Law Review entitled "Judicial Notification: A Simple Solution to Ensure Compliance with the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations."
Since joining Bashian & Farber, in the Fall of 2006, he has co-written and published several articles including articles for the Westchester County Bar Association Newsletter and the Westchester County Bar Journal.
Michael Candela is a member of the Westchester County (Trusts and Estates Section, Elder Law Committee) and New York State Bar Association.
